Position Overview:
As a CNA or Home Health Aide at Moravia Health, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our patients by providing assistance with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with our healthcare team to deliver personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Providing mobility assistance and helping patients with transferring and positioning.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) required.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
