Join us as a Machinist in our in Kansas City plant where you will use a manual lathe, drill press, and more to make precision parts for a variety of plant equipment to help our operation run as efficiently as possible. This position will work 6p-6a with a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule and pays $36.29 per hour.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Execute Strategic Repairs:
Use a digital milling machine, drill press, and manually operated lathe to repair plant assets and keep us creating the future of food
Fabricate components from supplied drawings or failed parts
Perform Corrective Maintenance :
Assist with plant repairs on production equipment
Safely Execute – Understanding, following, and enforcing all established safety, health, and quality procedures to drive forward production
Provide Top Notch Customer Service – Establishing rapport with business partners and peers across the plant floor to solve problems with a strong sense of urgency
Your Recipe for Success
High School Education or GED
Minimum of two years work experience using a lathe, milling machine, surface grinder and drill press
Basic maintenance and electrical skills including fabrication, equipment fine tuning, pneumatics, lubrication, reading mechanical drawings
