Data Loss Prevention Analyst – Dallas – CTH

THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION - CLIENT IS UNABLE TO SPONSOR H1B CANDIDATES

Needs: One Contract-to-hire

The resources for this assignment will provide Data Loss Prevention (DLP) monitoring and investigative case work.

These services are specific to the areas of:
Daily organization and analysis of large volumes of data collected from established Data Loss Prevention systems and methods to ensure compliance with Company policies
Incident identification and investigation
Ability to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to customers and management

Position Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with projects involving the following areas:

Must have prior DLP/Information Security operational analysis experience using Symantec, or equivalent enterprise solutions.
Familiarity with DLP incident handling, remediation, and reporting
Must have a basic understanding of Network and Endpoint Systems Scanning
Ability to identify patterns and events warranting additional escalation and investigation
Daily focus and efficiency in managing large volumes of input data
Proven data organization, data analysis, and filtering skills
Ability to interface with stakeholders and executive sponsors, applying exceptional communications skills to remove obstacles and resolve conflicts
Ability to ID and document for escalation all incidents that require further investigation
Complete daily and weekly reports as defined by management
Expert skills with Office 2013 or 2016 – Word; Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype for Business
Prefer experience with ENTERPRISE cloud storage solutions AWS, Azure, O365

Desirable Skills:
TCP/IP Network Security knowledge
Scripting (e.g., Windows and Linux shell, VB, Python, Java, Perl);
Familiarity with MSAccess, MS-SQL, Oracle, other database queries;
Ability to generate reports and statistics, dashboarding using tools
Worked in IT governance and fraud detection, investigation and resolution
Has experience managing privacy data (PII and SPI)

Experience:
Information Security: 3 years (Required)
Enterprise Cloud Storage: 1 year (Required)
Data Loss Prevention Analysis: 3 years (Required)
