StretchLab is seeking experienced personal trainers, physical therapists, rehab technicians, physical therapy aides and dance / yoga / pilates instructors to join our team of Flexologists. You will be working one-on-one with our members and clients to deliver assisted stretch services in our beautiful, open studio environment.
Our studio is in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood and we are actively hiring qualified candidates to join our team. StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist Training program is the only accredited certificate program recognized by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence for assisted stretching. POSITION:
We are looking for qualified candidates for our Flexologist team to deliver 1-on-1 assisted stretching services to our clients. We are looking for people who can commit 20+ hours per week and at least 1 weekend day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions while motivating clients and managing client long-term programming
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through managing client care:
- Delivering a best-in-class stretching experience
- Booking client’s weekly recurring appointments
- Updating client notes consistently
- Maximize client utilization of sessions/membership by booking follow up appointments, renewing memberships, outreach to lapsed members
- Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Love of boutique fitness environment is a must – passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility
- Preferred background:
- Personal Trainer
- Physical Therapist / Physical Therapy Aide
- Rehabilitation Aide / Rehab Tech
- Dance, Pilates or Yoga Instructor
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients (minimun 1 year, preferred 3+ years)
- Fitness certification or relevant degree preferred
- Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
- Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
- Must be available to go through our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on training
- Must be able to commit to 20+ hours per week and at least 1 weekend shift
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
