Position Summary:
The MuleSoft Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining MuleSoft-based integrations and API-led connectivity solutions. This role involves leading architectural and technical aspects of MuleSoft implementations, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices. The MuleSoft Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements, provide technical guidance, and oversee the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership: Design and architect MuleSoft solutions, including Anypoint Platform-based integrations, APIs, and microservices, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
Solution Design and Development: Develop and implement complex MuleSoft integrations using Mule 4 and Mule 3, Anypoint Studio, and DataWeave, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, and maintain technical documentation.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to gather requirements and define integration solutions, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft technologies, identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, and lead or participate in proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.
Governance and Best Practices: Define and implement integration strategies, best practices, and governance frameworks, and conduct architectural reviews.
Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

MuleSoft certification (MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) is highly desirable.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in integration architecture and development.

Proven experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including designing and developing APIs and integrations.

Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and API-led connectivity.
Skills:

Proficiency in Anypoint Studio, MuleSoft API Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.

Expertise in DataWeave, Mule ESB, and CloudHub.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, Apigee) is a plus.
