In this role, you will work with members of the IT Services department, as well as the rest of the University community, to resolve issues and create solutions. You will deploy new servers and applications as needed, design new and maintain current wired and wireless network implementations, and manage infrastructure that impacts the entire University.
This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week. The expected work schedule is during normal business hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm).

A day in the life of a Systems Administrator II:
Your day as a Systems Administrator II will consist of ensuring that the network and server infrastructure is well maintained, and accessible by all authorized users, ensure approved OS/software updates are staged and/or deployed to workstations and servers, work with members of the University or associated parties with various requests as they arise, as well as assist in creating new solutions for new and existing problems. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to "dive deep" into determining the root cause of an issue is paramount.
What you need to be qualified for this job:
To be qualified for this job, you must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years server and network administration experience. If your experience is in higher education, that is a plus. Additional education/training/certifications may be considered in lieu of experience. You must also have a positive attitude, and exemplify the Christian philosophy of Concordia.
