Join CACI as a user experience (UX) designer supporting a portfolio of financial management applications that help our Department of Defense customers plan and budget resources to support our country. We have been supporting our customers for over 20 years with 5 applications across 7 different clients. We continue to develop and implement exciting and complex solutions to support the evolving needs of our customers.

As a UX designer, your ideas and vision will drive what our customers see and experience with our applications every day. You will work closely with managers, business analysts, and end users to produce an innovative, refined, and intuitive design that meets our customer’s needs and simplifies the user experience.

If you have a strong design background, front-end UI technical skills, and the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task, you will thrive in this role. Develop wireframes, mockups, and/or prototypes supporting design ideas and effectively communicate ideas to various stakeholders.
Establish standard layout and style libraries across applications.
Lead the design of a cohesive look-and-feel and standardized user experience across the applications.
Work closely with managers and the functional team to determine feasibility of requirements and collaborate on design ideas and improvements.

Ensure applications are intuitive, effective, and deliver the customer value defined by program management
Use your passion for solving tough user challenges through great design.
Influence design and experience across all applications to ensure a valuable and consistent customer experience.
Establish and champion UX design vision, standards, and best practices to peers and program leaders that align with program goals.
Stay current on important industry and customer trends to ensure our applications are delivering relevant solutions.
Collaborate effectively with stakeholders inside the company and with customer groups to drive effective solutions.
Use data, validation, and feedback strategies that deliver designs backed by qualitative and quantities testing.
Willing to take risks and champion new ideas.

There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree (in Graphics Design, Computer Graphics, or related field) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Minimum of 5 years of UI/UX experience for business applications, preferably used by DoD.
Experience with designing complex, enterprise level business applications with multiple workflows and target user communities.
Experience with creating design systems.
Expert level experience with either Sketch, XD, or inVision.
Experience in designing and creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Experience with information architecture.
Experience with coding in HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
Ability to present a portfolio of past design work on web-based business applications.
Experience with understanding the intersection of customer needs, program goals, and technical capability.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
Desire to work in an Agile environment.

Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance and experience incorporating standards into designs.
Experience supporting web applications for a DoD community.
Experience creating personas and user journeys/journey maps.
Knowledge of object-orientated design principles and design patterns.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Experience working in an Agile environment
