After building our brand for more than a decade online, Amerisleep has begun expanding into retail - opening stores in high-end shopping centers. Join our team of Retail Sleep Ambassadors to assist customers by educating them on better sleep habits and technologies (we’ll train you to become an expert on everything sleep-related), answering product and service questions, following up with orders, and ensuring ultimate satisfaction.
As a Retail Sleep Ambassador, you’ll represent the Amerisleep brand and uphold our reputation while helping customers achieve the best sleep they’ve ever had.
Greet every customer with a smile and a warm hello. You are the face of Amerisleep.
Be the expert. Have confidence and understanding of our products and be prepared to advise customers on why Amerisleep is the best choice for their sleep needs.
Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of the Amerisleep product and value-proposition.
Provide support and answers to customer inquiries on sleep-related topics, product knowledge, order placement, and order follow up.
Be an effective communicator. Listen, learn, and engage customers to educate them on our products and brand values. Have confidence in yourself and trust that you are providing customers with the best and most relevant information possible.
Make a meaningful impact on customers’ lives. Take pride in crafting a memorable customer experience.
Maintain professional and friendly communications. Whether over the phone, over email, or in person, we want to ensure our customers receive the best, courteous, customer service possible.
Manage multiple customer accounts. You need to be quick on your feet when it comes to ensuring all customers receive your attention in-store and online.
Conduct research and analyze the competition. When it comes to sleep, there are many options out there. We need you to know the competition in order to best educate customers on our unique offerings.
Be a team player. We’re a small but powerful team. Team support and engagement is expected from all of our employees.
Be an Amerisleep ambassador at all times. We are looking for an ambitious and intelligent professional who wants to be part of building a great company and culture.
Demonstrate a great attitude and enthusiasm for helping customers.
Must be flexible and adaptable in order to anticipate customer needs and interests.
Demonstrate passion for in-person customer service.
Proficient in multitasking, so you can successfully engage multiple customers at a time, providing each with an attentive and exceptional shopping experience.
A bias towards action and awareness of the market and customer needs.
Honesty and integrity are essential. You want our customers to refer their friends to you!
Availability to work weekend and holiday hours is required.
Must be able to demonstrate English language proficiency (written and spoken). Second language skills encouraged.
4 year Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Finance, or other related field or 4+ years of sales/customer service experience.
Proven experience solving complex problems and resolving customer issues
Proficiency with cloud applications and G Suite
Excellent and professional English communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
