Full Job Description
Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment.
Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work.
May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
Assignments are semi-routine in nature.
Work performed within generally defined parameters.
Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Normally receives general instructions on most work.
Shift Hours 6 p.m. to 6 a.m:
Shift 4, Front of week nights: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday alternating Saturday
Shift 6, Back of week nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday alternating Saturday

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Possess a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) associate's degree, or bachelor's degree or equivalent military training with 6+ months experience or experienced FSE.
Windows computer operating systems and Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) experience.
Lift up to 25 pounds (lbs), climb ladders, walking 3 to 5 miles a day, and/or standing and/or sitting for 9 - or + hours in a clean room environment.
Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods of time in a clean room environment
Work a compressed work week schedule
Schedule consist of three twelve hour nights or in a row followed by a fourth night every other week.
6+ months of experience in the following areas:
Electronic and/or avionic
Electronics or digital circuitry.
End-user computer skills and navigation, schematic and/or wiring diagram reading, electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
Testing, repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data and test equipment.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system repair manuals.
Working on and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment systems.
Ability to apply the use of mechanical and/or electrical measuring devices such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, metrology, and calibration equipment.
Windows computer operating systems and Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Networking, troubleshooting, and Linux software systems.
Solid Works, CAD, 3D printing.
CNC Milling, welding, metal work.
