Summary:
McAdam seeks a client-focused Business Development Representative to support the Firm’s Company Based Marketing (CBM) initiative. This role is integral to bringing in new business by speaking with seminar and workshop prospects, qualifying them, and setting them for appointments with our Vice Presidents. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in a business development or sales role setting appointments and taking notes over the phone; be an effective communicator; and be organized, adaptable, and energetic.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2+ years of phone sales experience
- 1-2+ years of client relations experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
- High technological literacy
- Flexible availability (Normal business hours and some early evenings when necessary)
- Ability to be coachable and apply instruction
- Ability to thrive in pressure situations
- Ability to work from a remote location
- Ability to follow through on tasks as assigned
- Ability to be a part of a team and collaborate regularly

Responsibilities
- Conduct 15-minute phone calls from company events to schedule prospects for first meetings
- Confirm first meetings with prospects and get statements for the meetings
- Follow up with first meeting no-shows for feedback and rescheduling
- Transcribe all sales-related data into the coverage calendar and pre-sales tracker
- Use data and social skills to project what prospects will likely yield the highest results
- Log information from all 15-minute calls for data tracking
- Assist with other marketing streams as assigned
