Human Resources / Payroll Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Supports human resources / payroll departments by screening and interviewing applicants; preparing payroll; orienting new employees; administering employee benefit program.
Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs.
Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Other duties as needed.
Human Resources/Payroll Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
Good Verbal Communication, Maintaining Employee time cards and files, Compensation and Wage Structure, Orienting Employees, Benefits Administration, Professionalism, Organization, Teamwork, Supply Management.Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
This position is a temp to hire position.
Pay: $12-$15 DOE
