Daroff Design Inc, an award winning global architectural and interior design firm based in Philadelphia is seeking an Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper to join our Philadelphia based team Accounting Department.

Experience

Requires minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 plus years’ bookkeeping experience with a good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work closely with Accounting team members to maintain day-to-day operations
  • Administrative assistant to Executive VP
  • Maintain schedules and documentation to ensure an efficient invoicing process
  • Review receipts, invoices, and other financial data provided by company managers for accuracy before billing clients
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports

Required Skills

  • Proven commitment to accuracy and professionalism in Accounting
  • Proven comprehension of and adherence to confidentiality laws regarding personal and private company information
  • Advanced knowledge of Accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Proven experience in maintaining financial records in order to ensure organization, not only within the Accounting Department, but firm-wide
  • Ability to analyze managerial data in order to direct team members regarding billing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take direction respectfully
  • Proven ability to prioritize and delegate in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience in a design and/or architectural workplace is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in Sage 50 Accounting a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
