Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal research, data entry, and a strong understanding of various areas of law such as family law, immigration law, and personal injury law.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw to support attorneys
- Assist in preparing legal documents related to family law, immigration law, and personal injury law
- Maintain and organize files for efficient data retrieval
- Assist in drafting correspondence, pleadings, and interrogatories
- Perform filing tasks in state court accurately and efficiently
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Westlaw for legal research
- Familiarity with various areas of law including family law, immigration law, and personal injury law
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to speak, write, and perform data entry accurately
- Previous experience working in a law office as a Paralegal is preferred
