SAS has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities
  • Experience with RF stocking and picking.
  • Work with management to develop short and long term strategies for warehousing.
  • Communicate with warehousing leads regularly to understand the status of warehousing operations and to provide guidance and direction.
  • Create and develop written procedures and training materials for the warehouse.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other department managers to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Assist in managing employee hours to stay in compliance of company standards
  • Involved in all aspects of inventory control to achieve company goals.
  • Lead the DC to be efficient and productive
  • Direct and lead all projects.
  • Must be willing to learn and help direct all Departments within the DC
  • Must be experienced in leading groups to achieve company goals.
  • Responsible for Analyzing Data to assist in efficiencies.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk/stand for 8 – 10 hours.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Some college or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and especially Excel).
  • Experience with ERP/MRP in a warehouse environment is required. (Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus).
o Learn and understand the new ERP/MRP system in order to develop efficient and effective processes for warehousing and material handling.
o Work with management and outside consultants to help coordinate the setup and operations of the new ERP/MRP system.
  • Experience with training and writing training documents.
  • Fluent in conversational Spanish is very helpful, but not a job requirement
