This position handles a variety of clerical and/or HR responsibilities (e.g., Timekeeper Admin, recruiting, employee onboarding, employee training, AP/AR) for grains and oils plant.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Office Support

Responsible for administrative support to the operation and Director-US Crushing.

Maintains good working knowledge of SHE policies, rules and procedures applicable to area of responsibility and ensures all applicable requirements are adhered to.

Support and is a backup for the Production Associate position.
Production Associate Backup

Accounting responsibilities

Processes accounts payable

Requisitions coding
-
Invoice coding for production, maintenance, chemical and all capex for the soybean crushing, Glycerin, Packaging, biodiesel and Lecithin plant.
Human Resources

Submit accurate and timely payroll information to corporate payroll department by the required deadlines. Investigates and resolves any pay issues in a quick and efficient manner. Identifies long term or systemic issues and makes recommendations for process improvements.

Create job postings, review job seekers, coordinate interviews and selection processes to include but not be limited to ensure appropriate background checks and other screens are completed. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.

Provide resource for employee training and develop activities and needs including at a minimum an on-boarding program for new employees.

Partner with management to communicate various Human Resource policies, procedures, plans, etc..

Support and lead strategic and tactical HR initiatives for the location and drive process improvements in people processes to establish and execute on world class HR actions.
Additional Responsibilities

Completes miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned by the management.

Generation of employee reports, organization chart updates

Support organization resources for meetings, lunch, visitors and completes miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned by the Plant Management

Experience

1 or more years of experience in an office environment in a manufacturing setting.

1 or more years of previous experience as a Human Resource partner for a manufacturing plant.

Previous experience and on-the-job training related to accounting and relevant clerical tasks.

Working Conditions
Typical office environment. Periodic visits to industrial operations areas are necessary with exposure to a variety of temperatures and prevailing weather conditions; exposure to gases, vapors, dust and odors; and exposure to areas with wet floors and high volume of noise. Personal protective equipment (PPEs) will be worn in compliance with Company standards and government regulations as required.
