About the team
This team will be performing outbound calling to FIS targeted customers to identify ways to improve customer checkout, reduce processing expense and create customer loyalty through the sale of FIS services and products.
With this newly created Virtual Sales team, Inside Sales Representatives need to be able to work week days during typical business hours and will have the opportunity to earn excellent commissions on top of a base salary.
What you will be doing
  • Sells FIS products, services and/or solutions via telephone/e-commerce approach to generate revenue and/or profit margin based on revenue gained through booked appointments.
  • Promotes sale of white space initiatives of FIS and carries individual and/or team quotas.
  • Generates prospective customers and closes sales generated through warm leads.
  • Books appointments/conferences for new prospects.
  • Informs customers of company promotions and upgrades, uses persuasive techniques to motivate customers and urges timely purchases to meet qualifications for any discounts.
  • Qualifies leads, identifies decision makers, determines customer needs, explains product/service alternatives, recommends most suitable products/service(s), identifies features and benefits, overcomes customer objections, generates pricing /contracts, and closes sales.
  • Reports daily or weekly activity to sales manager.
  • May respond to inquiries and resolve problems.
  • May attempt to cross-sell or up-sell each account.
  • Prepares required sales documentation.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • At least three years of prior sales experience and a good understanding of the sales process.
  • Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner appropriate to any audience (all levels of management, employees, clients and public).
  • Analytical skills to determine client business needs and requirements.
  • Computer and phone navigation and operation skills.
  • Excitement and passion about selling for FIS.
