ACC specializes in solid waste consulting services with expertise in design, permitting, construction administration engineering, construction quality assurance, environmental monitoring and remediation, compliance, and operations and maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Troubleshooting, operation and maintenance of landfill gas extraction systems
- Landfill environmental monitoring
- Oversight, technical direction, and review of process streams and operations
- Regulatory compliance, monitoring and permitting support
- Data calculations, cost estimates, and plan and specification review
- Client interactions
- Safety and environmental program compliance
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in environmental science or a closely related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Work independently and within teams
- Honest, trustworthy, dedicated and have a desire to create quality relationships both inside and out of work
- A desire to continue learning as well as mentor others
- Strive to provide quality service, conscientious and responsive
- Detail oriented, well documented note taking on field activities
- Lift approximately 75 pounds; walk/stand for extended periods of several hours
- Provide a clean driver's record
- Working knowledge of standard environmental procedures
- Mechanical aptitude
This position requires frequent fieldwork and overnight travel – sometimes for extended periods, so enjoying outdoor work and travel is a must. Candidate must have a clean driving record and drug screening, be capable of performing physically demanding work, that may include walking over uneven terrain for extended periods and demonstrate a positive work ethic. Successful candidate will be motivated, dedicated, and desire to continue learning as well as mentor others. He or she will also strive to provide quality service, be conscientious and responsive.
