We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced OpenBuildings BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager to join our Digital Delivery team. As an OpenBuildings BIM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of BIM processes using Bentley's OpenBuildings suite of software. In this role, you will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure efficient project delivery and successful use of BIM technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Workflow Development: Create and refine BIM workflows to improve project delivery, collaboration, and data accuracy.
- Training and Support: Provide training and technical support for OpenBuildings software tools and workflows to team members.
- Standards Development: Establish and maintain BIM standards, templates, and libraries to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Model Management: Oversee BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, including model creation, coordination, clash detection, and model-based quantity takeoffs.
- Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective BIM data exchange.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews and audits of BIM models to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
- Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Project Coordination: Work with project managers to coordinate BIM activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience (Advanced degree or BIM certification is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on Bentley's OpenBuildings software suite.
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as OpenBuildings Designer, Station Designer, Energy Simulator, and Analysis.
- Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in training and mentoring team members in BIM workflows and software.
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
Compensation Range:
$124,644.00 - $166,191.00
