This position is responsible for the operational activities of a variety of functional departments, within three distribution centers, covering two businesses, 3PL and Blood and Transportation. Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. In addition to distribution center responsibilities this position will be integrally involved in the new business sales process and executive level customer business reviews.
Develops innovative distribution solutions and demonstrates new capabilities and value proposition throughout the sales cycle.
Will be responsible for coordinating with other McKesson 3PL businesses to ensure consistencies and leverage capabilities.
Maintain and foster a quality culture focused on cGMP compliance and ISO standards.
Drives operational excellence through process improvements, utilization of automation solutions and performance metrics.
Monitors and analyzes strategic growth opportunities with acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
Will evaluate 3PL growth projections to ensure network capacity needs are met.
Will be responsible for the five-year capital plan related to all 3PL DC investments.
Will be responsible for ensuring materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.
Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
Monitors and analyzes costs and assists the DC Management teams in preparation budgets.
14+ years operational experience including 12+ years managerial experience
3-5 years Pharma distribution experience
Quality management systems experience (QMS, IS9000 cGMP compliance)
5+ years experience in a customer-facing role
P&L management, capital expenditure planning and budget development.

Financial and business acumen to include knowledge of key financial statements drivers and levers.

4-year degree or equivalent experience
Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) – Office/Warehouse in KY. Must have ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
