About the Role
The Strategic Proposal Lead is an Individual Contributor who manages the end-to-end operational business relationship for customer and partner accounts and acts as the single point of sales operations accountability and execution for assigned clients and accounts. Reviews agreements and contracts and implements appropriate sales operations processes and solutions to drive operational results and optimize the customer and partner experience. Identifies sales enablement opportunities and develops action plans & processes to proactively address dissatisfaction drivers for customers and partners. May identify areas of opportunity for additional services, product, revenue and order growth on accounts and communicate to sales/partner representative for action.
The Strategic Proposal Lead
Provides single point of contact for end-to-end operations management for multiple accounts of moderate to high complexity and leads teams supporting larger global/partner accounts.
Consults with senior business leaders to identify relevant analytics, metrics and outcomes for the assigned accounts; develops end-to-end operational framework, including forecasts and budgets, to meet resource and client needs.
Ensures all operational activities for assigned accounts are performed within specifications and according to agreements; develops highly-customized processes and solutions to meet particular client needs. Accountable for the customer/partner overall operational experience from onboarding to steady-state operations.
Manages and expands relationships with clients and internal and external partners and clients to effectively provide feedback, drive changes to operational processes, policies and tools to improve performance and increase customer satisfaction, and identify on opportunities for organic revenue growth.
Provides operational expertise and overall leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Engages with partners/customers to obtain input on creating new capabilities or executing planned transformation activities. Assists in driving management of change within customer/partner environment and identifying/developing custom solutions as needed.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or equivalent;
Typically 4-6 years experience generating complex commercial proposals, software industry knowledge helpful
APMP Certification helpful
Knowledge and Skills
Experience designing and implementing overall process and tools management and improvement frameworks to perform end-to-end operational support.
Excellent analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
Thorough understanding of and experience in applying business tools, systems and practices in multiple and varied situations.
Reviewing and interpreting client agreements and resolving ambiguity or issues via negotiation
Evaluating forms of forecasting and planning methodologies to develop guidance for deploying end-to-end operational support resources and activities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to effectively communicate operational account support architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
