Serves as a member of the Combined Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Catheterization team. Assists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures, along with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion and hemodynamic monitoring studies (if applicable) Operates and maintains x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care. Independently functions during all procedures with minimal supervision. Responsible for all duties related to imaging, patient care, RIS data management and image storage.
Certifications and Licensures Required BLS (Basic Life Support) Required ACLS (Cardiovascular) Required Radiology License Required ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) Or RCIS (Cardiovascular) within 1 year
Education Required High School or Equivalent Preferred Associate's Radiology Preferred Technical Cardiology
