To be responsible for the effective sales management of Honeywell Smart Energy Gas products and services within a specified or defined geographical area, region or country.
To ensure the strategic direction of the Company is realized for sustainable profitable growth in sales revenues through the promotion of Honeywell Smart Energy Gas products within the region.
Assist the Sales and Operational Senior Management Team to develop and maintain the regional sales strategies, with full communication to all stakeholders.
Manage an assigned geographic area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet Company objectives within the generation of new customer accounts and ongoing market opportunities.
Develop individual marketing strategies and annual objectives based on market intelligence and account activity.
Develop new and existing customers, capitalizing upon the product brand to maximize the generation of product inquiries and order conversion rate.
Ensure that all customer feedback is escalated to Honeywell Sales Leaders for input into the regional sales strategy for future product development.
Cultivate close working relationships with customers, enabling constructive influence for Honeywell in selection processes as the first choice, providing clients with fit for purpose solutions.
Conduct effective negotiations with customers to ensure that Honeywell margin goals are reached to a satisfactory level and that approved and implied terms and conditions are adhered to.
Minimize Honeywell’s exposure to financial liabilities within contractual terms in conjunction with Legal counsel.
Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams and other ad hoc reporting requirements as required for determination of market potential.
Contribute towards promotional planning to represent Honeywell products and the brand at industry events in a professional manner.
Update and maintain databases for competitor pricing, product line activity, and product pricing within territory to maintain competitive advantage.
Provide technical assistance, product application and installation training to customers and distributors within the territory.
Select, maintain and develop a distribution network to increase market penetration.
Work cross functionally with other Honeywell Departments including;
Customer Service – for support in telemarketing, quotations, samples and product returns.
Engineering and Operations – to seek new product development and joint research opportunities, and understand product updates.
Participate in all sales meetings, conferences, trade shows and regional trade association meetings as required.
Proactively schedule regular product training to ensure up to date knowledge of product lines.
Develop and maintain new opportunity sales funnel.
Convert opportunities into sales.
Track opportunities via SFDC
Responsible for key account planning..
Responsible for win /loss reporting
Responsible for providing sales call reports to include the following:
Sales call objectives
Results of meeting
Opportunities & risks
Next steps, Actions Owners & timing.

YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
10+ of related sales experience or training in Gas sector; Utility management.
5+ years’ experience in formulating short and long-term business plans concerning sales targets.
5+ years’ Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
A university degree in business studies, marketing or Engineering.
Utility Industry Experience.
Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
Extensive knowledge of the geographical region in which they work.
Experience of working in an Engineering / Manufacturing organization.
The attitude and will to want to make a difference.
A methodical approach and an eye for detail.
Effective presentation skills.
