About the Role:
Ouro is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Data Governance team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing strategic initiatives with complex dependencies, risk management, stakeholder management, and building technical roadmaps. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical scenarios for leadership understanding.
Responsibilities:
Manage strategic initiatives with complex dependencies, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and align project goals with business objectives.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical roadmaps, including capacity planning and guiding the evolution of our products and services.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
Utilize Agile methodologies and project management best practices to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
Translate technical concepts into clear, concise presentations and documentation for executive-level audiences.
Familiarity with diagramming tools such as sequence diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD’s).
Collaborate with project and external resources for the creation of all necessary project documentation such as business case workbooks, project charters, roadmaps, operational policies, resource documents, and training documents, including the documentation of best standards and practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in Project Management is a plus.
7+ years of experience in a technical program management or related role.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering value to customers.
Experience with diagramming tools (e.g. Lucidchart or Miro) and competent with SQL..
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience with Software Development Life Cycles processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
Experience in consumer based products and payments is a plus.
Experience with Data Governance frameworks.
