JOB SUMMARY:
Spitzer Kia in Cleveland is looking for passionate team members who want to deliver a high level of service to our customers, while growing their career at a top regional employer in Northeast Ohio. A Lube Technician is responsible for inspecting and lubricating vehicles quickly and thoroughly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs multi-point inspections
Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns
Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles
Check tire pressure
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil
Add water to radiator and battery
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals

OTHER FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
6 months of experience or related training equivalent required
Successful track record
Team oriented
Professional appearance
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. This includes repetitive bending and lifting of items. Must be able to work under hot or cool, wet, and sometimes-dusty, and loud conditions.
