Now Hiring: Experienced Dog Groomer
Are you passionate about making dogs look and feel their best? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a gentle touch? Our established pet grooming salon is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dog Groomer to join our team! If you have a genuine love for dogs and possess excellent grooming skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform professional grooming services on dogs of various breeds and sizes, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to client specifications and breed standards.
- Conduct thorough health checks during grooming sessions, identifying any abnormalities or potential health issues and promptly notifying the pet owner.
- Safely handle and restrain dogs during grooming procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening to clients' requests, offering grooming recommendations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, discussing grooming preferences and any special needs or instructions for their pets.
- Stay updated on current grooming trends, techniques, and industry best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional dog groomer.
- In-depth knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming styles.
- Proficient in all aspects of dog grooming, including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and styling.
- Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Patience, compassion, and genuine love for dogs.
- Certification from a recognized grooming school or association is a plus.
