Performs a variety of regular and recurring accounting functions, including but not limited to securing financial operations by performing daily reconciliations ensuring financials are reported timely and accurately. Responsible for addressing and resolving basic to advanced issues regarding Inventory, escalated by the Sunoco Service Provider. Responsible for providing support to operations, general accounting (and related departments), internal & external audit and the tax departments. The Fuel Inventory Senior Accountant will also be required to be self-driven and willing to assist the team in order to meet common goals and deadlines. Another function of the Fuel Inventory Analyst will be providing assistance in resolving customer inquiries regarding fuel invoicing.

Monitors the performance of the fuel and accounting systems by ensuring feeds and processes are running as scheduled and performing as expected related areas of responsibility.
Identifies, researches and resolves all processing errors related to fuel sales and deliveries related to dealer and bulk plant sites.
Interfaces with multiple internal departments as well as field personnel to resolve fuel sales, fuel deliveries and fuel inventory matters timely and accurately.
Researches and resolves missing fuel delivery information.
Prepare reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and summarizing information as needed.
Performs other various duties as assigned
6-8 years’ experience in accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
High-level excel skills
