Jack Henry & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services, primarily for the financial services industry, is hiring a Systems/Network Administrator to join the Enterprise File Integration team. Enterprise File Integration is an IT operations team that provides enterprise-class, high-volume, mission-critical, managed file transfer solutions and support to Jack Henry & Associates, its customers, and third-party partners.

This role will be one of three Systems/Network Administrators on the nine-person Enterprise File Integration team and is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and high-availability of the managed file transfer solutions we provide. This role requires strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within our team as well as collaborate with resources outside our team. In addition to maintaining the health of our systems, team members will participate or lead multiple projects simultaneously and may also serve as an escalation point for production support/technical issues within the team, so strong technical and troubleshooting skills are required. While each team member is self-sufficient, they help one another and work as a team whenever appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a minimum of 18 months experience as a Systems / Network Administrator or Systems / Network Engineer or must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in any of the following fields: managing / supporting or troubleshooting any of the following technologies: Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7, or CentOS 6/7 operating systems.
Must have experience with Microsoft SQL database.
Must be able to travel up to 10% to attend additional team meetings / training and or attend professional conference.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree.
Advanced scripting knowledge, including Microsoft PowerShell, Python, or other relevant scripting tools.
Experience with File Transfer Protocol FTP systems: client/server and network protocols such as HTTPS, FTPS, sFTP.
Experience with enterprise managed file transfer (MFT) software solutions, such as Cleo-Harmony, Ipswitch-MOVEit, or IBM Connect:Direct.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Monitors systems for optimum performance and availability.
Installs, configures and maintains systems, such as LAN, WAN, Internet and/or data networks.
Implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
Troubleshoots and resolves customer and internally-reported system problems.
Implements and monitors corporate security policies.
Documents and implements system procedures, policies and events.
Participates in on-call 24x7 support rotation.
Performs essential functions required for effective system backup and restore testing.
Performs periodic recovery testing of DR plans.
May manage data access and data permissions.
Assists in managing user accounts.
May assist support groups with applications installed on servers.
