Responsible for product specification and sales of Regal mechanical and electrical products within the commercial HVAC industry. Coordinates the implementation for all aspects of closing or sustaining industry target accounts. This includes ensuring customer service, engineering, and operational needs are in place to meet customer and market demands. The position requires facilitating communication between internal and external customers including but not limited to field sales, marketing, and operating functions. Identifying the key customer service and product needs and bringing those back into the organization is critical. Requires excellent knowledge of key products, applications and industry terminology to successful communicate our value proposition. Needs to be able to manage projects from cradle to grave and ensure customer objectives are understood and communicated to members of the team.
JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities):
Manages assigned territory and/or assigned accounts, in accordance with strategic / tactical plans, and maintains necessary operating records and files. May require extensive travel to work with customers, field sales, and support channel programs pertaining to Regal growth initiatives.
Will require working closely with multiple Regal business units to foster enhanced cross divisional and technological collaboration, product offering/support and overall Regal sales growth.
Development of a penetration plan for maintaining/growing key and target accounts in their assigned territory.
Actively communicate activity summaries, call reports and/or email / phone correspondence and promotes application successes internally and externally.
Facilitates the support of operations / manufacturing, marketing, and engineering in the pursuit of meeting key customers’ requirements to close new business.
Supports the execution of new product programs necessary to meet industry and customer needs.
Acquires and develops an understanding of, and becomes familiar with, assigned industries and how we can maximize current product portfolio to service / grow.
Continually documents competitive conditions / activities, industry trends, economic environment, and any information pertinent to the industry initiative.
Promotes sales through customer contact to include:
- Field Sales Calls
- Product / Industry Training Sessions (OEM, End Users, Channel Partners)
- Customer Plant visits
Documents any need for product modification, new product suggestions, and recommends enhancement in existing products to meet customer requirements.
Represents / Joins / Participates in Assigned Industry Organizations / Associations at local/regional level.
Follow Regal Ethics and Safety Programs.
Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position.
Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs.
Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL REQUIRED
Four year university degree: preferred in Engineering, Business and/or Marketing.
Knowledge of power transmission industry: preferred minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing/Manufacturing environment (or Industrial Marketing).
Extensive (40% - 60%).
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point
