Job Details for a Regional Sales Representative:
- Position Type: Direct hire, full-time, salaried (non-commission based)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Interview Process: Phone interview, virtual interview, reference check, in-person interview
- Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the National Sales Manager
- Travel Requirements: Primarily day-trip travel with occasional overnight stays; less than 20% extended travel required
- Hiring Timeline: Targeting a hire by December 2024; early applications are encouraged, and interviews will begin as candidates are identified

Duties and Responsibilities of Regional Sales Representative:
- Independently source and develop customer leads within the Texas region
- Knowledge of electrical system technology and a strong understanding of electrical theory, concepts, and motor control including Variable Frequency Drives and Soft Starters
- Understand and apply motor controls to support customer needs and drive sales
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and success with our products
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth and success of Solcon Solutions, LLC in the region
- Travel as required (approximately 20% overnight) to meet with clients and attend industry events
Experience and Qualifications for a Regional Sales Representative:
- 3-5 years of applicable industrial sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Solid knowledge of electrical motors, motor controls, and their applications
- Experience with pumps, compressors, fans, and material handling applications is considered a plus
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and concepts
- 2-year technical degree in a related electrical field or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is considered a plus
- Field sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Strong goal-oriented mindset with a consistent drive to meet and exceed targets in competitive settings
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve sales objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining client relationships
