Communication Service for the Deaf - Remote

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating a broad range of promotional activities designed to support the mission and vision of CSD as well as the full portfolio of CSD companies. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CMO serves as a member of the senior executive team and is primarily responsible for strengthening all stakeholder relationships as well as advance the global narrative around our organization’s values and elevate awareness of the social and socioeconomic change that we aspire daily to achieve.

Essential Functions:
Collaborates with the CEO and executive leadership team to conceptualize and promulgate a clear brand – consistent message, strategy, and plan for the company to achieve its goals
Strengthens the CSD brand and its product and service suite by introducing clear marketing guidelines and resources for employees to utilize in their day to day interaction with stakeholders
Serves as a senior ambassador of the mission and vision of our organization, sharing the story and goals of our organization with a global audience
Develops and execute global marketing strategies and supports the development of product-specific marketing plans for all of the products, programs, and services within the portfolio of CSD companies
Oversees the strategy, form, and function of the company’s online presence, including the company’s corporate website and social media channels
Researches, compiles data, and advises all teams within CSD regarding market forces and external environmental factors (competition, emerging technology, government and regulatory influence, shifts in consumer behavior) that can impact CSD’s existing array of business products
Leads and supports a large and talented team of marketing, creative, and public/community relations professionals
Collaborates with CSD’s technology teams to implement and deploy digital marketing tools that automate and enhance the spectrum of marketing efforts and initiatives within and throughout CSD
Instills a data-driven culture in making marketing decisions to maximize ROI
Works with CSD’s public relations teams internally and externally to coordinate media relations efforts and to effectively distribute timely company information such as press releases, articles, position statements/OpEds and other print and video resources for mass consumption
Sources and manages speaking engagements and public relations events for senior executives. Evaluates and coordinates event sponsorship activities on behalf of CSD.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
Ten years of professional experience in marketing or public relations functions
Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language
