Main functions:
The Warehouse associate is responsible for the accurate and organization of the company designated warehouse facilities Position requires fast paced, trustworthy, motivated, detail-oriented individuals to come in and make an immediate impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Maintain updated/accurate inventory.
- Follow all company policies and procedures (e.g., safety and security);
- Ensure uniform/dress code and personal appearance are clean and professional;
- support workplace diversity initiatives.
- Follow proper food handling procedures.
- Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions.
- Report work related accidents.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others;
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Ensure all cleaning and maintenance standards are adhered to; assure proper inventory levels.
Position Requirements
- Knowledge of general warehousing practices
- Knowledge of proper lifting and carrying techniques for loads up to 40 lbs.
- You must be focused and determined with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient spoken and written English
- Punctual, meticulous and reliability is very important to success
- Courteous manners
- This position is frequently exposed to heavy lifting and physical labor for up to 8 hours a day
Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent (Preferred) .
- 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse (Preferred)
