Provide exceptional customer service to all incoming callers.
Actively listen to callers to identify needs.
Create a relationship with the customer by projecting a caring and helpful attitude.
Take responsibility for the outcome of the call and provide first call resolution when possible. Perform basic scheduling and phone support with an emphasis on customer service to enhance the Allina Health consumer experience. Assist patients, clinical professionals and the general public with access to healthcare services.
Provide patient access to Allina Health Group services by scheduling appointments.
Ensure Registration is accurate and complete.
Use electronic knowledgebase tools to ensure adherence to correct procedures.
Learn and understand clinical services supported, including but not limited to Allina Health Group and Allina Health Hospitals.
Develop, achieve and maintain knowledge of tools and resources; including but not limited to Amtelco, Avaya, Excellian, AKN, and other applications.
Develop, achieve and maintain knowledge of workflow standards based on clinical service line direction.
Develop, achieve and maintain comprehensive understanding of guidelines for accessing patient, provider and employee information.
High School diploma or GED required. 1 year of post high school education preferred.
One year of customer service experience required. 6+ months experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications through previous work and/or school experience.
40 hours per week

Monday - Thursday, 11:00 AM- 8:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
