Position is responsible for assisting with clerical and administrative functions as needed in various departments.
Hours: Typically 40 hours a week.
Manages traffic flow in the office, incoming calls, ensures a tidy office environment, setups-up meetings.
Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.
Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operations (i.e. paper, toner, etc.).
Filing, scheduling, travel needs, new hire help, various special project.

Plan, organize, and implement routine and special projects assigned by supervisor. Be able to work and act in a professional manner and exercise independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is a must. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is required.
Have an understanding of the operation of all office equipment such as a computer, printer, copier, fax machine, and calculator/adding machine. Must possess Intermediate to advanced computer skills. The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software programs to meet the needs of the position is essential.
