The Tools team is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the customer’s Systems Engineering business process tools to support processes to include configuration management, risk, issue and opportunity management, schedule management, architecture management, and requirements management. The program provides system administrator / support specialist functions for the tools. The Tools team also provides user training on systems engineering business process tools and has a large emphasis on identify opportunities to optimize systems and tool execution through automating processes, consolidating or migrating existing tools, and/or acquiring new tools.

As a member of the Tools Team, the team member will be responsible for the configuration of the COTS application to support tools transition and integration efforts supporting the contractors’ and customers’ needs. The SharePoint Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment including assessment and implementation of new capabilities and providing Information Technology with a long-term perspective on the relationship of SharePoint technology to the business opportunities facing the company. Responsibilities include: Supports sites built on SharePoint 2010 and 2013; Manages system security and upgrades. Configures and deploys custom solution packages/settings. Administers and maintains the structure, content, sites, and subsites. Provides SharePoint support to end users and project leaders. Assess user requirements; design and configure user interfaces; perform integration testing. Designs, develops, evaluates and modifies systems and systems-oriented products. Gathers information concerning the capabilities of products; investigates the technical capabilities of products and competing equipment and/or solutions; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Coordinates resolution of product/service issues, upgrades, and problems.

Position Requirements:
5-8 years’ experience
BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field (IT/Engineering/etc.)
Knowledge of back-end SharePoint and Project Server configuration
Front-end SharePoint development
Integration experience
Familiarity of Project Server scheduling capabilities
Security + or equivalent certification
Experience analyzing COTS software capabilities to aid tool integration
Knowledge of SQL, Java and VBA
Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly

Desired Skills:
Experience evaluating and testing COTS software functionality.
Experience developing and troubleshooting work-flows
Experience identifying, researching, and testing alternative solutions
Knowledge of Agile terminology, theories and best practices
C2S Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with DOD and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations, directives, and policies a plus
Experience with: SharePoint 2010 and 2013, Windows Server, Microsoft Office Suite, Installs/Upgrades, Project Server 2010+
