The role is responsible for managing all support activities for a top executive, encompassing a wide range of activities including management of a complex calendar and scheduling requirements, tracking key deliverables, leading the coordination of domestic and international travel, expenses and budgeting, project coordination, and document review.

  • Act as the face of CVS Health to all external constituents by promoting our values and representing the culture of the company
  • Sounding board, confidant and conduit to keep the executive well informed and help facilitate his/hers decision making
  • Plan and coordinate external facing meetings, including outside vendors, government officials and other senior leaders across multiple industries
  • Calendar gatekeeping, prioritizing and providing recommendations on scheduling conflicts
  • Research and compile briefing documents in preparation for meetings
  • Maintain an efficient flow of information between all levels including internal and external contacts on a wide spectrum of plans and priorities
  • Review, proofread, and format all correspondence to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • May attend senior level meetings to take notes and follow-up on outstanding agenda items
  • Assist in document management, compilation, distribution and storage
  • Identify issues for escalation and keep in constant communication with others to ensure exec is well informed
  • Total travel coordination including air and ground transportation, hotel reservations, visas and other travel documentation
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience supporting the top executive of a large company (President or equivalent) with complex calendar management, meeting coordination, domestic & international travel coordination, etc.
  • Advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Experience leading other Administrative staff and effective leadership skills including holding others accountable for results and improving team morale
  • Demonstrated success working in an ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining commitment to deadlines
  • Demonstrated success using business judgment to help drive key deliverables of the business
  • Proven track record demonstrating ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and use independent judgment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, team orientated philosophy, and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting executives within the healthcare or insurance space
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field preferred
