As a Grants Management Specialist II, you will support the updates of grant policies and procedures by leveraging the in-depth understanding of the full grants lifecycle from solicitation and evaluation of applications to closeout and audit.
This position is 100% remote.
Base Compensation Range:
$75,000 to $90,000
Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.

What You Will Do:

Perform a wide range of contract/grant administration functions to assist the Government PCO/Grants Officer in acquisition planning.

Maintain copies of contracts/grants, staff all requested changes, and determine if the change applies to other contracts/grants.

Support contract/grant closeout actions.

Prepare and analyze reports using MS Excel and other tools available.

Provide knowledge and practical resources to Stakeholders to ensure customer service provided is relevant, accurate, and timely.

Provide grants administration from pre-award through closeout.

Review and evaluate the adequacy of grants/assistance policies and procedures; serve as a liaison between the Government and awardee organization.

Research and resolve any problematic transactions.
What We Are Looking For:

A Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.

5 years of relevant experience with knowledge of Federal grants laws, regulations, and policies, and an understanding of business and industry grant practices.

Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technical assistance and recommendations to meet the intent of the grant.

Office experience including MS Office and Google platform product skills.

Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance, which must be adjudicated favorably for you to begin working. This requires fingerprinting and reporting on your previous employment, residence, education, and financial and legal background. Candidates may be disqualified for federal or state convictions of crimes, military court-martials, delinquent federal debt including taxes and student loans, current use of illegal drugs, or lying on their application. The process can also be long (100+ days).
