Account Executive

The Indianapolis Colts are seeking highly motivated and dedicated sales candidates to join our Senior Season Ticket sales team. The primary responsibility is to sell season tickets through face to face meetings and outbound phone calls to local area businesses. Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed, attend home games and outside events to service clients and generate new leads. Responsible for reaching monthly ticket sales revenue goals staying on pace to reach and exceed goals. Excellent communication skills and 1-2 years of professional selling or previous ticket sales experience is required.

Job Responsibilities
Actively sell available seating inventory via outbound sales calls, appointments, presentations and stadium tours
Meet or exceed established yearly/monthly revenue and ticket goals set for new business
Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by sales manager
Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including but not limited to: networking events, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners / lunches, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games and outside meetings
Perform accurate and skilled deal closings
Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes

Bachelor's degree is required
MINIMUM of 1-2 years of successful sales experience in sports, media and/or direct sales is required
Experience and success in developing and building relationships with a creative consultative approach
Ability to communicate effectively and understand the importance of season ticket holders and fans
Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a desire to continue a career in professional sports with internal advancement opportunities
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Candidate should possess excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work nights and weekends
Previous experience with Ticketmaster and Archtics preferred
Salesforce (CRM) knowledge preferred not required

Compensation will include a base salary plus sales commission and performance bonuses.
