TJFACT is seeking to hire a Forensic Graphic Artist to support the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI).

The Forensic Graphic Artist will support the investigative analyst as well as field agents by producing expert three-dimensional animation design support to AFOSI in support of a broad range of investigative, research, and organizational requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide expert three-dimensional animation design support to AFOSI in support of a broad range of investigative, research, and organizational requirements.
Provide direct investigative support to ongoing criminal, fraud and CI investigations, through case consultation and visual product development.
Prepare graphic and visual renderings for use in support of witness testimony in various military and civilian courts.
Prepare graphic and visual renderings for use in support of case briefings to commanders, attorneys, and law enforcement organizations.
Develop two and three-dimensional animations and illustrations of crime scenes based on photographs, sketches, notes, and reports. The renderings should allow the user to walk through or manipulate the rendering in such a way as to demonstrate the context of various pieces of evidence in the scene.
Develop two and three-dimensional visualizations (medical animations and illustrations of physical injuries) based on photographs, sketches, notes, reports and consultation with forensic experts. Renderings should allow the user to view the injuries on the model from various angles and provide context to the injuries with respect to location, size, and when applicable, patterns.
Develop two and three-dimensional visualizations (animations and illustrations) of forensic interpretations of crime scenes in order to portray the sequencing of events involved in the commission of a crime based on photographs, sketches, notes, written reports, and consultation with forensic experts. The use of models within the crime scene may be required to illustrate a series of events that may have occurred during the commission of a crime.
Develop two and three-dimensional visualizations (medical animations and illustrations) of forensic interpretations of mechanisms of physical injuries in order to portray the sequencing of events involved in the commission of a crime based on photographs, sketches, notes, written reports, and consultation with forensic experts. Renderings should allow the user to view the interpreted mechanism of injuries on the model from various angles.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of two years of experience using computer aided designs/drawings and preparing composite drawings, renderings, illustrations and graphic designs.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of Media Arts and Animation or Graphic Art and/or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication.
Ability to conceptualize, design, develop, execute and animate high-end design projects.
Demonstrated skill in design software applications such as Adobe Master Collection CS6 (Photoshop, illustrator, Premier, and After Effects), Autodesk, Maya, Mudbox, Motion Builder, and Smith Micro (Poser 10), and Portrait Pro.
A Top Secret (TS) Clearance is required and potential candidates must be TS/SCI.
