We are in search of a highly motivated Senior Analyst/Manager, Strategy and Corporate Development who is ready to take their career to the next level in a fast growing company.

The Location: Charlottesville, Virginia & New York, New York

The Team: Who are we as a team? Our Strategy & Corporate Development Team is responsible for evaluating and executing M&A opportunities and driving S&P Market Intelligence’s competitive intelligence process, growth strategy and planning initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Supporting our strategic planning process and prioritizing our strategic initiatives
Assist in executing our strategic plan through inorganic activities including M&A, divestitures, minority investments and partnerships
Generating financial analysis related to M&A, strategic initiatives, new ventures, and competitor analysis
Preparing high-impact materials for board and senior management meetings
Provide timely, high value research and market analysis to improve the effectiveness of existing and products and services
Organizing and conducting secondary market research and analyses

What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of work experience in financial information/services industry. Background in M&A advisory / corporate development, financial analysis, strategic strategies a plus
Effective written & verbal interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent business and financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze data trends, draw conclusions and develop action plans
High degree of initiative and ability to handle simultaneous projects
Sense of urgency and have an ability to deliver results with short lead-times
