The primary responsibility of this position is to be a “Trusted Advisor” and strategic Learning Partner supporting Human Resources and the Office of Corporate Responsibility teams in achieving their strategic business objectives, through a robust learning strategy that is globally consistent and scalable.
Roles & Responsibilities:Be a trusted learning partner:
Effectively consulting with senior stakeholders to understand strategic business priorities and staff skill gaps in order to inform an appropriate training strategy
Formulating and implementing an effective learning strategy by identifying needs, leveraging existing firm-wide training solutions as appropriate and addressing specific training requirement gaps
Relationship management and collaboration with HR for HR team, function and regional leads and other partners such as Talent and Development and the Learning COEs.
Oversight and project management of aligned learning infrastructure including leading a network of internal volunteers and SMEs, vendor and budget management, marketing and curriculum management end to end.
Implementing globally consistent, efficient and impactful learning solutions
Partnering with senior stakeholders to drive the adoption of a continuous learning culture across HR and the Office of Corporate Responsibility by engaging and enabling employees and managers in continuous skill development
Collaborate strongly with Shared Services Training Team including the Digital Learning Services in executing the training strategy, utilizing best-in class curriculum content and facilitation
Staying current with the latest market training innovations / product offerings and being consultative by suggesting innovative training solutions
Have a strong understanding of current and future digital technology capabilities to enable alignment of appropriate training solutions to support high profile business re-engineering projects (e.g. adoption of Cloud Technology by HR)
Analyzing training results and metrics in order to report business impact to senior stakeholders
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes
Graduate / Post Graduate, with a minimum of 8-10 years experience in Banking / Financial Services or similar industry of which at least 3 should be in a similar training consultation role
Exposure to current training methods / solutions
Ability to work both independently as well as a member of a high performance collaborative team in a project deadline driven environment
Display the highest professional standards, operating with a commercial mind-set, high client centricity and being innovative by challenging the status quo
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with impact to senior stakeholders
Proven ability to embrace change and quickly learn the applicability of new concepts specifically related to the application of digital technologies (e.g. Cloud, Robotics, Machine Learning, Big Data)
