Driven by passion and purpose, the VP, Digital Transformation and Enablement will help accelerate growth and drive revenue across multiple internal pillars, including Digital Marketing Technology, Digital Experience, Product Design & Ownership, eCommerce and Emerging Technology Strategic Partnerships. Expected to lead and direct concurrent high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration across agency departments. Also acts as product champion and ambassador, as well as point for emerging technology and overall digital perspectives. The role’s remit is global and across all business lines.
Consumer Digital Marketing Technology Transformation
Via collaborative discovery of client needs, determination of vision, planning and then implementation & integration of strategically cohesive marketing technologies, this position leads the client through a marketing technology transformation. A strong understanding of digital capabilities across the spectrum of Ansira service offerings (definition, planning, architecture, experiential design, development, integration, enablement, management), coupled with a keen understanding of client marketing objectives correlating directly to business goals, this individual ensures client success by leading them through calculated digital marketing tasks laddering to an overarching plan. This person is to be seen by the client as their Advocate, Champion and Digital Sherpa.
Digital User Experience Design & Definition
Striding beyond current experiential patterns in market, this role serves a thought-leadership role, enabling teams to pioneer experience design and definition over traditional and vanguard digital touchpoints, including visual, tactile, conversational, VR/AR and multi-sensory engagement. Strength in traditional information architecture coupled with a depth-of-knowledge in emerging digital interactions are required to enable true expertise in this role.
Product Planning & Design
Providing a digital vision that is both visionary and pragmatic is key to this role of product planning & design. Recognition of emergent trends/technologies/services in the marketing technology space in correlation with a deep understanding Ansira capabilities, this individual is able to identify, design and marshal opportunities in new Ansira product/service offerings, complimentary to existing. An understanding of distributed business systems, internal proficiencies and enabling technologies empowers the qualified individual to conceptualize and strategically manage the execution, and ensure the resulting offerings are in lock-step with Ansira’s digital product strategies.
Strategic Partnerships, Emerging Technologies
Our Digital prowess may be greatly enhanced through valuable technology partnerships, enabling us to have a greater depth of offerings, and a faster time-to-market for initiatives. Emerging technologies can often be difficult to conceptualize and even harder to explain to clients. By identifying the technologies that fall best in line with our current offerings and future plans, then seeking out and engaging with the premier vendors in those spaces, the SEM over Emerging Technologies will help to supplement client knowledge, understand the pros and cons of specific use cases, and, in the cases where it adds value, may leverage their vendor relationship to aid in planning, architecture, development, or other relevant tasks. It would not be feasible or profitable for Ansira to hire talent for each new, evolving buzz-worthy technology; however, through the selective use of our partner program, we can adapt rapidly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent the Digital Technology team and corresponding digital, data and CRM resources as necessary, manage client expectations, and drive technology strategy across client accounts.
Recommend appropriate technology strategies and solution sets to meet marketing objectives and/or CRM business needs.
Collaborate with Client Partnership to review SOWs, scope engagements, gain consensus, and set project deliverables within Project Plans.
Support new business opportunities and own deliverables as assigned.
Analyze Client environments, architecture and related tools/platforms to create and present marketing technology strategies and recommendations.
Ensure appropriate meetings are held in order to align (or realign) stakeholders and generate common understanding, throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Responsible for the discovery and definition documentation of Business Requirements.
Provide direction to Technology Strategist and Analyst for development & maintenance of Business and Functional requirements.
Serve as a key advisor to client and executives in defining and directing the strategy, key priorities and decisions in pursuit of Digital marketing technology strategy.
Act as Owner and Key Stakeholder over assigned Ansira Products.
Ideate, conceptualize, design and plan new product initiatives
Work with technology architects and digital developers throughout the development lifecycle (for both internal and client projects) to identify areas of improvement on architecture or foundations to enhance extensibility & strategic direction, support for additional applications/clients, and ensure the end product meets all shareholder expectations.
Provide thought-leadership on all digital experiential initiatives. Oversee the application of digital experience and analysis principles during the project lifecycle.
Supervise Digital User Experience and Business Analyst teams, measure team member performance, provide training opportunities and specify goals for direct reports.
Continuously measure product development against provided timeline and budget, enforce quality standards, and manage scope to ensure profitability and minimize our risk exposure across both products and projects.
Manage vendor relationships determined to be supportive, primarily in the new/emerging technology space, but also with top-tier partners (Adobe, Acquia, Salesforce etc.).
Provide solution development, content generation and cost scoping as needed to New Business Development teams and participate as needed to innovate complex engagements.
Acts as an Internal Ambassador to help foster understanding of Digital Technology Services, Emerging Technologies, Digital Experience, and Ansira Products.
Translating the strategic direction and business objectives established by clients into holistic digital, technology, change management and organization strategies.
Proactively diagnose errant business processes or organizational problems, providing recommendations on improvements or solutions to alleviate concerns.
Adapt to alternate technology stacks, as client needs and applications may demand. Advocate the most profitable & cost-effective platform and architecture to best serve those needs.
Provide financial responsibility over department and lines-of-product budgets and profitability goals.
Manage team members as appropriate and help them in their growth in the organization

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising or Computer Science or commensurate experience is required.
Minimum 15+ years of marketing technology-related experience is mandatory within agencies or direct digital advertising, marketing or development roles, as is in-depth knowledge of integrated technology CRM environments.
Solid understanding of digital technology theory and practice (across network, server and application layers), including ability to break complex processes and methodologies into easy-to-understand explanations.
Successful experience leading development initiatives, from concepting to definition and follow-through, and directly or indirectly managing development, as required.
Thorough understanding of all aspects of building & maintaining complex technology integrations and stand-alone applications, including integration approaches, environment options, design patterns & practices, data interchange approaches, test methodologies, tracking & reporting.
Possession of excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
Strong Critical Thinking, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Knowledge of development languages (client or server-side), as well as CRM Suites and applications within are a plus; Knowledge over Adobe Suite, Kitewheel, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle, and other CRM products is valued.
