Radiant Solutions is looking for a Project Manager in our Reston, Va location. It is a full-time customer-site position providing Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) project management support to a US Government agency.
The individual will be required to be the onsite project manager serving as a “trusted agent” for the customer.
Project management responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing the daily operations, immediate execution and staff supervision and guidance of a large, multidisciplinary Task Order
Receive, document and execute customer requirements
Track, report and deliver Task Order deliverables
Identify technical, cost, schedule, and performance risks early and develop risk mitigation plans
Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Integrate sub-contractors into technical team
Inform Program Manager of resource requirements
Ensure success of staff members through satisfaction of immediate professional needs, guidance and effective performance reviews
A technical degree in science, engineering or related
6 years of experience in project management in the DoD/IC
Strong financial experience managing multiple lines of funding within the same project
Experience organically growing programs and nurturing business development opportunities
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification/DAWIA Level III certification
Experience managing a team of 30+ FTEs
Experience managing a diverse team of professionals, including multiple sub-contractors
Experience managing multiple contract types, including CPFF, FFP-LOE and T&M
Experience with resource, reporting, project tracking and collaboration tools, such as SharePoint and Microsoft Project
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
A Master’s degree in science, engineering or related
10 years of technical professional experience in the DoD/IC
Experience working in a SETA environment
Experience working with the special operations community
