Position Overview:
The Manager, Arena Operations will be part of a world class Arena Operations Team that manages the Prudential Center. This position will work closely with staff members of the Operations Team as well as cross-functionally across the organization. He/she will lead a team that will be responsible for the oversight and execution of office services, the loading dock, 3rd party vendors, capital improvement projects and quality control in addition to general day-to-day arena operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Oversee office services which includes but is not limited to planning and coordinating office moves, maintaining storage for all office furniture and supplies and oversight of all incoming and outgoing mail, office supplies and a company-wide snack program
Responsible for the management of all loading dock activities while adhering to best practices and formalizing policies and procedures
Responsible for the management of 3rd party vendors including cleaning, vertical transportation, trash, snow removal, pest control, among others.
Develop and lead company-wide efforts as it relates to all recycling and sustainability efforts. This includes but not limited to maintaining metrics for reporting and coordinating efforts across 3rd party vendors and staff.
Lead all full time daily and monthly scheduling initiatives
Responsible for quality control efforts on arena operations work in conjunction with Business Operations
Assist the Arena Operations department in all facets of work including CMMS and the work order system, project management, fleet management, event coverage, tenant/team relations, payroll and policies and procedures.
Assist in Arena Operations Capital Improvement Projects
Assist in the overall MEP and FP systems in the Arena including new installations, repair and maintenance, etc.
Other projects, as assigned.

Qualifications (educational, experience and basic knowledge requirements):
5 years Experience managing FT/PT Staff, Union Trades and 3rd Party Vendors
Knowledge of basic engineering skills including MEP and Fire Protection
Extensive working knowledge of Stadium/Arena Operations
Bachelor’s Degree or Related Discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Stadium/Arena Operations
Ability to interpret blueprints, shop drawings, construction schedules, etc.
Knowledge of State and Federal codes and guidelines
Knowledge of safety requirements and standards for public facilities
Familiarity with MS Office (specifically Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe, AutoCAD a plus)
Strong oral and written communication and project management skills

Working Conditions:
Travel Requirements: Position may require occasional travel to other locations in and out of state
Physical Demands: Position requires ability to lift up 50 lbs.
Work Environment: Position may require event support during evenings, weekends and holidays
