SUMMARY:
Provide design, implementation, and support for the Trover Solutions information technology systems. Perform analytical, procedural, and diagnostic processes aimed at designing, implementing, documenting, and supporting information technologies. Provide multi-level support for implemented systems. Following project lifecycle methodology and responsible for multiple simultaneous information technology projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors dgree preferred
10+ years of relevant experience in -
Data networking, data center design and configuration, VPN, Cisco & Juniper hardware & software, Unified Communications.

RESPONSIBILITES:
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and associated training for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
Design, install, configure, and support all network hardware and equipment, including, but not limited to routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.
Monitor and analyze network performance across the organization’s LANs, WANs, and wireless deployments.
Inspect, maintain, and where necessary replace network cabling, voice/data jacks, and other network-related equipment.
Monitor system capacity to determine its effect on performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing network demands.
Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure.
Design and perform network and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
Recommend and execute modifications to server environment in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
Coordinate and collaborate with various Information Services departments to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of the network to meet business demands.
24 x 7 on-call, some weekend and after hours work is required.
Expected to follow strict change control management policies designed to ensure that proper planning, execution, and meticulous documentation for projects of all systems supported.
Under limited supervision assume primary responsibility for support and maintanenace of multiple Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 incidents and projects.
Manage assigned projects according to IS project management methodology, procedures, and processes.
Adherence to established best practices for systems implementation, deployment, monitoring, housekeeping, security, disaster recovery, and backups.
Maintain current knowledge through reviews literature, patents and current practices which are in line with company strategic direction. Prepares reports regarding new technology to communicate to appropriate personnel.
Designs and develops highly complex, integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance.
Recommends highly complex systems investment(s) to management and business users based on results of independent assessment of current and future performance, stability, and systems management/life cycle issues.

Design, develop and test disaster recovery processes, trains staff and ensures compliance with disaster recovery plans for all supported systems.
Performs and evaluates cost analysis and vendor comparisons for projects to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations. Measures feasibility of various approaches and make recommendation(s). Ensure adherance to model created and overall budgetary guidelines.
Responsible for oversight and management of group during manager’s absences with direct reporting to departmental management.
Analyze systems and take appropriate corrective action(s) to ensure systems performance and availability meet or exceed established service level standards.
Provide detailed support documentation and maintenance of documentation so that all members of team are able to support any systems.
Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports regarding projects, activities, and status of open requests and problems.
Provides leadership, mentoring, training and technical guidance to less experienced personnel.
