Job Overview

Assist Restaurant Staff with guest service needs. The Host will be the first point of contact to all restaurant
guests via phone and upon entrance to restaurant. Will be responsible for
all seating, taking of reservations,
greeting and communicating all relevant information to Restaurant Staff. Conduct table checks.

1. Strong written and oral English communication skills.

2. Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy,

cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.

3. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where

only limited standardization exists.

4. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels

of patience, tact and diplomacy.

5. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.

6. Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration, and think clearly while providing service to many

guests at any given time.

7. Two years of experience in customer service, preferably food and beverage.

8. Punctuality, regular and reliable attendance.

9. Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.

10. Ability to comfortably learn and communicate all menu items.

11. Polished telephone etiquette skills.

12. Ability to prioritize in accordance with company standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $11.00 to $13.00 /hour
