Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, managing a team of kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
~AKM is responsible for coordinating and supervising the restaurant
kitchen staff. Their main duties will include but not limited to; hiring
and training of all kitchen staff. A full 10 days of training is required for
all new Employees. The AKM will schedule and assign all training for
new employees. This will include two days of training on each station
(fry, grill and pizza). Then two full days of training on all party
buffets/packages. The last two days of training will end with 2 days of
Expo training. The AKM will be held to a standard of 15 minutes or less
for all ticket times.
~The AKM will also be responsible for all scheduling of Kitchen staff,
the target labor percent the AKM is responsible for achieving is 18-
20%. The AKM will use 7shift to schedule appropriate to maintain this
labor percent.
~The AKM will have the main responsibility of all Inventory and Food
cost. Elev8 Fun Target food cost should 32% and under. The AKM will
work alongside the Food and Beverage manager to achieve this goal.
The AKM will complete a Monthly inventory of all BOH products at the
end of each month. This must be completed on the LAST DAY OF THE
MONTH after close. The AKM will be allowed one hourly employee to
help with end of month inventory. The inventory must be submitted on
the approved (by the F&B Director) inventory sheets.
~The AKM will be responsible for all BOH ordering on the approved (by
the F&B director) date. All orders weekly or one-time orders will need
to be approved by the F&B Manager before being placed.
~The AKM will conduct a daily and weekly line check, including but
not limited; cooler and product temperature checks, Quality control
checks of items and dishes, as well as plating.
~The AKM will report to the Food and Beverage manager. Both the
Food and Beverage Manager will meet on a weekly basis (Determined
by the Food and Beverage manager) To discuss all upcoming events
and any weekly roll outs. The AKM will need to execute all banquet
events.
~The AKM will be require to develop and execute daily and weekly
cleaning list, as well as Maintain a safe and Elev8ed work atmosphere.
~The AKM will meet on a monthly basis with the Food and Beverage
Director and the Food and Beverage Manager to discuss the previous
month reports and what is happening the month ahead.
~The AKM will be required to work a mix of Days and nights. This is to
ensure all Kitchen operations are running to health and Elev8
standards.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
