POS Coordinator. We have a short-term contract need for a POS Coordinator to join our Columbus, Ohio client team, SAM (Stores Asset Management). The team manages IT assets supporting real estate (New Store, Remodel and Relocations), Steady State Break Fix and Project roll outs. As a POS Coordinator, you will be physically moving assets through lifecycle management activities such as: receiving, testing, configuring and deploying IT Point of Sale hardware that supports client stores.
Responsible for the lifecycle management of Point of Sale IT assets supporting domestic and international locations through receiving, testing, configuring and deployments of hardware to stores meeting requested delivery dates.
Responsible for testing and determining functionality of POS hardware in order to determine disposition.
Responsible for processing daily Cherwell requests related to Real Estate inbound receipts and or related to Apple iOs deployment for project roll out
Responsible for following life cycle management processes for company owned assets meeting and driving PCI compliance at all times
Responsible for configuring and deploying iOs devices related to project roll out
Responsible for meeting and or exceeding requested delivery dates for project roll out
Responsible for recording of and accurately documenting store inbound receipts and outbound shipment activity; maintaining accurate inventory records by serial number and or CI (Configuration Item) at all times
Other job duties assigned by department leads and management
Successful completion of an appropriate course of study or graduation from an accredited college or trade school or equivalent experience in related industry
Minimum three years’ experience in related field
Broad knowledge of Point of Sale hardware
Working knowledge of configuring Apple iOs
Working experience with IT project roll outs
Strong customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to recognize and call out risk related to working environment and project roll out
Access and handling of PCI technology requires an impeccable background of ethical behavior
Ability to lift devices up to 70 lbs on a regular basis
Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast pace environment
Strong sense of urgency and team player that strives to exceed timelines
Excellent technical and customer service support background that provides services to internal home office customers and external stores.
