As a Training Systems Support Specialist, you will gain knowledge and experience:
Imaging laptops and downloading data from the laptops following training events
Trouble-shooting laptop performance issues
Manage inventory and lifecycle of training equipment
Installing updates, patches and loading drivers on information systems
Resolving IT tickets and providing IT support to over 50 end users ensuring the continued smooth operation of both unclassified and classified networks
Assisting with the operation and maintenance of IT systems/networks within a DoD environment
Assisting IT lead with assigned tasks
Managing training event equipment shipments (CONUS/OCONUS)
Image laptops, prepare training shipments, create/track shipments and manage equipment inventory
Support training events by being the point of contact for all IT-related equipment issues
Monitor systems/network advising senior staff of network failure/degradation or security issues
Perform cybersecurity duties (as directed)
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, detail-oriented team player capable of imaging laptops. As part of our training branch, this person will be comfortable working independently but also enjoy working collaboratively and building close relationships with colleagues. Applicant must be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently, be ready to learn and is happy to support occasional out of hours work, as well as limited travel within the continental US.

IT experience in a secure government environment would be a distinct advantage to the applicant. Ability to obtain Security + certification required. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. sit, stand, walk, and climb ladders unassisted. Position requires a high school diploma with three to four years of related IT experience. Education may be accepted in lieu of experience. Positions affords opportunity for growth and advancement.
