Position Function
Under supervision, perform custodial work required for the cleaning and maintenance of facilities complying with appropriate procedures and techniques for equipment and cleaning products.
Minimum Education
1.High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum Experience
1.No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, chemicals or environmental factors in custodial
service.
2.Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding of various heights to perform duties.
3.Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety,
hazardous materials information, University policies, procedures and communications, and perform basic mathematical functions.
4.Must possess and maintain a valid Drivers License and be insurable under the
university’s auto fleet policy, if required by assignment.
5.Must be able to perform all mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job
duty.
6. Must have at least one year work experience (full time or part time).
7.You must be 18 years or older.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Experience
1.Experience in custodial work.
