Administrator for refinery’s Inspection Data Management System (IDMS). Ensures information is accurate and current for compliance with company standards and applicable jurisdictional codes and requirements. Inputs and updates database information as well as runs risk analysis and inspection plans as directed by Inspection management.
Responsible for championing site Risk Based Inspection (RBI) program. This includes participating in monthly RBI User Group, as directed by the Inspection Supervisor
Supports inspection work plan development and reporting by ensuring inspection results are accurate and current in database. Produces reports used to scope, develop, and execute refinery’s inspection plan.
Oversees inspection master copies, both electronic and hard file, and ensures compliance with company guidelines for these records.
Ensures compliance with current inspection plans for refinery equipment in accordance with applicable inspection codes, jurisdictional requirements and company practices. Accomplishes this by the issuance of reports for deficiencies in timing and completeness of inspections and by the issuance of various Inspection department KPI reports. Identifies the need for equipment inspection deferrals in a timely manner and provides support for the pursuit of deferrals at the direction of the Inspection Supervisor when required.
Creates complete electronic and paper files for all current Pressure Safety Valves (PSVs). Maintains their completeness. Coordinates reviews to ensure accuracy of inspection and servicing plans. Creates reports tracking servicing and inspection requirements. Audits completeness of files as well as inspection and servicing schedules. Issues requests to maintenance to service relief valves.
Manages the Inspection Recommendations and reporting system, issue reports and tracks compliance.
High school education or equivalent, with API 510 and 570 certification and preferably API 653 certification.
BS Engineering and the ability to earn certification in at least one of the three aforementioned API certifications.
